The Royal Hospital has a wonderful greenhouse and allotments tended lovingly by Chelsea Pensioners. Every year there is an abundance of plants and this year Chelsea Pensioners and Chelsea schoolchildren are giving away plants to passersby on King's Road, Chelsea. 

Based at Royal Avenue, (land owned by the Royal Hospital, Chelsea), Pensioners and school children will be asking questions about King's Road and its history and up to the minute daily routines. One hundred lucky individuals will be walking away with a plant grown right at the heart of where the Chelsea Flower Show takes place every year, in the Chelsea Pensioners greenhouse.
